Meet Joe Vig...

Who is Joe Vig? He is the unluckiest and most oblivious minifig ever created. Joe has no clue of what’s going on in the area just around him! He is also electro-magnet for bad luck, and never quite seems to know what’s about to happen... unfortunately, it’s usually just about to happen to him!

Now you can build Joe Vig, and use him in your own vignette! Post it on LUGNET, and we will add a link to your vignette on the bottom of the Joe Vig page. (Please use ‘Joe Vig’ somewhere in the title of your LUGNET post.) Note: This is not a contest. The purpose of creating Joe Vig is simply to inspire vignette building and to have fun!

You can find more information on Joe Vig and his Misadventures on the Joe Vig page, or just click on this icon on the .vignette sidebar:

Now, to get things started, here are some brand new “Joe Vig” vignettes:

We look forward to seeing your Joe Vig vignettes! Go, Joe...Vig!

Coincidence?  I wonder...

I'm going to like seeing the contributions to this one...

Keep up the great work!

Neat idea to continue interest in vignettes. I hope to see more Joe Vig adventures.

Now, to get things started, here are some brand new “Joe Vig” vignettes:

Nathan Wells:

Toxic Trouble is my favorite of this bunch. The toxic substance buring through the floor is great. Also very nice work on the lap itself. I will be borrowing that railing in the future. In the explorer one, I like the tree. The SNOT work on the croc one is nice as well.

   Nelson Yrizarry:

The kitchen fire is great. I like the detail work put into it before the flames were added. The drawers on his work surface look good. As for the Pit Stop, I can see trying to work that into a train layout.

Overall, good work, thanks for sharing.

Hey guys,

Very cool idea! Blogged!

My thoughts are very similar to Jason’s. From Nelson I think the Grease Fire and Pit Stop are the stronger creations. In the Grease Fire one, the kitchen details are superb, with the drawers, the tile floor, and the hanging pans. What really makes the Pit Stop one for me is the pipe.

From Nathan, I think the Intrepid Explorer and Toxic Trouble are better than the Croc one. In the Explorer, that tree is something straight out of Dr. Seuss. I really like it. Toxic Trouble (remniscent of Rocco Carello’s Toxic) has a great design for the tank, and the ooze eating into the floor is very effective. I also really like the way you did those two lamps under the balcony.

Hmm, gotta start thinking up some Joe Vig’s of my own . . .

Bruce
