Heres my second entry for the Joe Vig contest Joe and Jonesy:
From the classic film Alien, Joe is standing in for Brett as he tries to catch
the ships cat Jonesy. Look up, Joe!!
Scary movies make such great fodder for Joe Vig, as said so well by
Anita Eenink in this post.

Awesome work, Alien is one of my favorite films.
Great greeblies there with the chain, boxes and machinery.
I like the creepy way the Alien blends into all those details, Joe looks allot
like Brett with that expression and hat.
Good work.

Hi Tony,
Youve really captured the unfolding motion of the Alien (or should it be
Xenomorph for this film?) brilliantly. Its by far the best minifig scale Alien
Ive seen.
I dont fancy being in Joes shoes at all.
Your,
Tim

Thanks! And yes, all that black and dark grey blends nicely. This was one of
those ideas that just hits you and then almost builds itself. Thats what I
love about doing the little vignettes- you get a lot of mileage out of a quick
build.
Although Ive seen all parts of the movie at least 3 times, I have yet to watch
the entire thing straight through from beginning to end. Ill be doing that
soon...

Wow, thanks! When I was getting ready to build the alien, I looked all around
lugnet for ideas... I knew I had seen some done before. But if you search on
lugnet for Alien, you find a lot of other stuff not related to the movie.
After I built the vig, I thought to search on colonial marines, and then I
found a number of Alien movie creations.
