Bryce! We'll make a pact to post more often. I've been saying I will for the
past two years but school seems to catch me and I forget.

Gah I'm so inconsistent at even doing that :P

However, at the urging of a friend I'm posting my latest Bionicle moc here

It's another study of organic Lego. Here's some of the text from my BZP post:

"I've been trying to build these open organic type models. I've dubbed the style
"weaving" from something ThraxisJr said once, that building Bionicle is like
weaving. Though how he knows what weaving is like is anyone's guess.

Anyhoo I'm trying to make a semi ridgid skeletal structure and "skin" that
rather than building out from a solid structure (like a Toa body). I know the
end result is somewhat messy looking but I'm pushing myself to build a bit more
free flow. Also I'm gearing up to make something larger which will need to be
lighter as well. I'm hoping this open type style will help me."

That's sweet. I've always loved the idea of different builders not only building
with different styles, but in different "forms". I think it sounds cool.

This weaving business is pretty awesome, the flowing lines through the legs give
it a cool feel. I think the 1 x 1 clips you've added make it look more sinister,
(I'm guessing they're to look like hairs?) but break up the flow a little a bit.
What if you used black minifig hands or something? (assuming that those are
intended to be hair)

The big sack on the back looks thoroughly disgusting and as chris said, the
fangs are cool.

Awesome stuff.

BTW I remember you mentioning once you listened to Audioslave. Have you got Out
of Exile yet? (not much of a chance seeing as it came out this morning) I like
the sound but the lyrics aren't nearly as epic or immersive as last time. Tom's
solo's are still the coolest thing on the block though.

See ya
