Bryce!!!

That is just too cool! How the heck did you get it to stand up with that huge rear end? :-p

Great MOC, I’m glad you brought it to our attention. I really wish you’d post more often. :-)

It’s another study of organic Lego. Here’s some of the text from my BZP post:

“I’ve been trying to build these open organic type models. I’ve dubbed the style “weaving” from something ThraxisJr said once, that building Bionicle is like weaving. Though how he knows what weaving is like is anyone’s guess.

Anyhoo I’m trying to make a semi ridgid skeletal structure and “skin” that rather than building out from a solid structure (like a Toa body). I know the end result is somewhat messy looking but I’m pushing myself to build a bit more free flow. Also I’m gearing up to make something larger which will need to be lighter as well. I’m hoping this open type style will help me.”

Hmmm, very interesting. That is definitely a new approach to building. The only problem I can see is that the “skin” would be kinda fragile. Of course, I’m sure you’re already thinking of ways of making it strong.

Keep up the awesome work.
