Hello again!

Here is another MOC, a mosaic of a motorcycle.

This was done for a client who wanted some glued models for her kids Lego themed playroom. This model measures 2 1/2 feet long, and 1 1/2 foot tall. It is built in the shape of the object as opposed to having a frame or border around it like previous mosaics I have done. And as with all mosaics I have built, it is done freehand without the use of computers.

There are little hidden access panels that conceal technic bricks so it can be screwed to the wall.

I like how this one turned out, so I might be making a copy available on my ebay store.

The only thing that sucked about it is the same thing as my above posted PT-109, is that is uses a lot of old light grey! But I suppose that is the hazzard of making and selling Lego sculptures, I have to see large parts of my collections going out the door never to return!

Oh well, what can you do? Beats the alternative, I suppose!

Enjoy!

This is a small mosaic (a little over 200 pieces) of an American flag.  It
uses plates for the star field and bricks for the stripes.  It measures 13
bricks high, 28 studs wide, and 2 studs deep:

I also used a cleaned up version of one of the images to make a tiny flag
banner that I have placed on my root lego page.  You can see it here:

Well, I've finally put together a web page that shows a mosaic I made last
spring: Van Gogh's "Starry Night." This is my first "big" LEGO project and I
really enjoyed putting it together.

The mosaic is 144 studs (45 inches) wide and 116 studs (36 inches) tall. It
contains approximately 10,000 bricks, although I haven't counted them yet. =)

Enjoy!

Beautiful!  Finally, we see a mosaic that was worth all the effort.  Love the
dithering, too.

   Take care,

Nice work!  I keep thinking I ought to make myself a nice piece of mosaic
art for my house.  I've thought about doing this one, I guess I'd better
pick another subject :)
