Well, this MOC has been a WIP for years, and now I have finally finished it
(with, of course, help from my consultant, chief designer, and son, Ross:-)

When Ben Fleskes starting producing his BBB wheels in blue, I imagined building
a larger scale Thomas. With the advent of the new PF train motor system, this
seemed like the perfect time to complete this project.
Details:
- It features the new PF train motor, with the rechargeable battery mounted inside the boiler.
- A section of boiler top comes off to allow access to the on/off button of the battery, and for recharging it.
- The front utilizes the Duplo Thomas head piece:-)
- There was a lot of schleiming and Hoop-dee-doing to create Annie and Claribel in dark orange; they utilize BBB medium wheels.
- The minifig uses Woody legs and arms, thus fitting in with the larger scale.
- Click HERE for a YouTube video of Thomas in action.
Thats about it; big thanks to Ben for producing the wheels, to Brad Justus for
securing the Thomas license for LEGO, and to whosever idea it was to create
longer legs and arms for figs: Brilliant, all of you!

I seems like only yesterday that I posted
THIS.
Now the license has come to an end. I just wanted to say that it was a great
run, and to Brad Justus, wherever you are, I offer a toast to your name: Salute!

In the past, weve had people active in the Community with instant name
recognition: Larry P. (++lar) for instance. Weve had infamous people: Bill
Swanberg, aka the Lego Set Price Modifier. And of course there has been people
such as Brad Justus and Jake McKee.
So, who do you consider the most influential AFOL in the :wec: these days?

Three different choices:
City Square, Public Transportation Center and Truck Shop
Information regarding to the three choices. Depending which theme wins the
Target age market is 6+ and price point is $100USD. The images on the
Toysrus.com are concept designs shown at BrickFest 2009 in Portland, OR.
Since there are people talking on other LEGO fan sites forums about monorail.
It is a very unlikely chance a monorail system will be made. I cant speak
for LEGO, however LEGO knows people would like to see a monorail set. If there
is a new monorail system it would be a whole new system, and the cost could be
more than $100USD price point.
There is a lot of history and reasons why the old Monorail system will not be
made. From the motors, tracks, machines, molds, third party suppliers no longer
in business etc. This is been going on for a long time as far back as BrickFest
2001 when Brad Justus was working for LEGO, and answered the question regarding
to the LEGO Monorail system.

p.s. It would be interesting to see a Ciy Square (maybe) a updated version of
set #1592 Town Square from 1983 or something like UNRELEASED never made set
#6500 Holiday Village from 1996.
