Re: LOM Can not be space

(...) LOM has to be a continuation of the space port theme. C'mon, It started with astronauts and green crystals, and now it's astronauts and ugly green (or black or blue or pink or brown.......) aliens. Space always had no connection to earth or (...)   Okay, we are going crazy...

All the talk about the death of the minifig, and how creator is taking over, but think, for years, maybe dacades, minifigs have been living in harmony with technic figs, duplo figs, scala figs, ect.. Did this "minifigures must live" argument start (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001)

Re: LOM vs. Space (was Re: On Paranoia: King Leo's Castle)

(...) I would definitely be among those who like LOM. I just finished building the little promo sets, and a few days ago finished the big base. I must say that I have enjoyed building these sets. I think they are good designs (but like almost all (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

LOM vs. Space (was Re: On Paranoia: King Leo's Castle)

(...) Well, it all depends on how you look at it. LOM is not (at least, not according to lugnet) considered as part of the Space line (1). I don't know how accurate that is, I wouldn't bet my life on it, but there's probably a reason for it not to (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

  Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) I'm not sure I'd place that much significance on the Creator figures. I'd note that they look to be a similar scale to Fabuland (though perhaps with not quite the charm of Fabuland). Fabuland came and went during the life of minifigs. In fact, (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

  Did WE Create Creator?

After I thought about it for a while, I began to think "Did our complaints start the creator line?". We asked for less juniorization, and the LEGO company may have made the creator sets to say "The point of lego is still to build. There is more than (...)
