Greek Mask Question (was Re: here comes the next wave of 2001 sets...)

Mr. Istok: Since you have a pair of the better educated eyes on the subject, what scale do you imagine this green greek-style pop-eyed mask to be? The direct link should be here: (URL) would be so great to have this mask in minifig scale AND in gold (...) (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

Re: Other new Lego for next year

(...) For 1200$ I would expect more than a few large hull pieces with a motor. More life 5000+ pieces and a motor :-) Kev Z #142 (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: The minifigs don't fit in the vehicles!

(...) In addition to the difficul;ties of transitioning their design department to a new type of vehicke that would fit a minifigure, Lego also released some sets twice, the first time with the old, unposeable figure, and then again with the new (...)   Re: The minifigs don't fit in the vehicles!

I have been trying to modify the sets that I have that are like this so that the mini-figs actually do fit into the vehical. The only one so far that I really like the way I have modified it is set 554. It is no longer a tractor trailer type of (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.year.1978)

Re: The minifigs don't fit in the vehicles!

(...) ... (...) Well, these all came out shortly after the advent of the minifig. Prior to that, most 'legoland' style vehicles were made without doors or interior for a cab (There may be some exceptions, I forget). At any rate, they were still (...)   Re: Other new Lego for next year

(...) Get real! They would make a whole slew of new huge pieces that wouldn't even be *close* to real Lego. There would probably be a dozen plastic panels that snap together... and then you'd pay $200 for the motor. (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: The minifigs don't fit in the vehicles!

(...) That's a great set! It was also the first time I got any of those single-wheel pieces. Ah, memories! Dave! (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.year.1978)

  Alpha Team Info/Review

My roommate sent me a link to a review of the Lego Alpha Team game. (URL) it or not, it got a pretty good review, and there are some nuggets of information about the characters that might well translate over to the theme as well. eric (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.year.2001)
