I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Lego StarWars 2005 V.I.P. Gala event at the LEGO showroom at 25th and Broadway, in NYC, as part of this year's Toy Fair, so naturally I went... I uploaded a bunch of pics to BrickLink. They haven't been (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.year.2005, lugnet.lego) !!

'Cause, although the Harry Potter ship is of Jack Stone (4+ and up age) origin, it's still a nice hull that's in black with gray trim. And the Shark head that fit's (...) Following up Deep Sea Predators, I don't think there has been a Lego set like this one - it is a lion sculpture, almost kitten-sized. This I will buy right away. (URL) with wolf and vulture. (20 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.year.2005)

(...) I am not sure I like the packaging to parts ratio but I gotta say I dig the parts in [LEGOSet 8641] Orange jumpers, Orange tiles, Orange curve top bricks.. yummy! (...) 8644 is the lightest of the four racers. Mine has occasional hydroplaning where the others don't. The other 3 are heavy enough to create adequate FRICTION with the tabletop. Mousepad works fine for the lightest (8644). Which I think is the (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.year.2005)

I picked up each of the new 2005 small 'racers' sets at the MOA LIC on Saturday. They're cute sets, but my 8644 is pretty disappointing. When I push it across my desk here at work, two of the wheels don't even turn - they just slide. There is WAY to (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.year.2005)
