The hoodscoop/superchargerthingie looks sort of ridiculously large but the car (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.year.2005, FTX)

(...) 8644 is the lightest of the four racers. Mine has occasional hydroplaning where the others don't. The other 3 are heavy enough to create adequate FRICTION with the tabletop. Mousepad works fine for the lightest (8644). Which I think is the (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.year.2005)

I picked up each of the new 2005 small 'racers' sets at the MOA LIC on Saturday. They're cute sets, but my 8644 is pretty disappointing. When I push it across my desk here at work, two of the wheels don't even turn - they just slide. There is WAY to (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.year.2005)

(...) Holiday Greetings! I pre-spent anticipated Christmas money and bought a 10133 Burlington Northern Santa Fe GP-38 Locomotive and a 10029 Apollo Lunar Lander for myself from S@H. My 7 year old son got the Lupin's Classroom and Sirius Black's (...) (20 years ago, 27-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2004)

None for me :-( but my son (age 8) received the 8781 Castle of Moricia from Santa. Pretty cool for an 8-year old, but WAY juniorized IMO. While he's at grandma's this week, I think I'll show him how the gate-top arch POOP should be done. He's also (...) (20 years ago, 27-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2004, FTX)
