  Re: Samsonite Info

(...) Hee-hee...are these specks VERY small (>1mm), and vary from bright white to pale grey? Are they nearly impossible to clean off without really digging at them with a fingernail or tool? I thought that they were paint at one time myself, when (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.1971, lugnet.db.brictionary)

Re: Lego Links Up with BMW Williams Formula 1 Team!!!!

This is great news! So far it was looking like it was going to a sad year for Technic (OK, so call me a Bionicle Burner -just hate those sets) but this has helped me revive my spirits for 2K2. Would be kind of nice to see Lego get together w/ (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: Two really impressive 2002 sets ...

(...) A couple of things I have noticed: The cowling/fairing around the bottom of Slave 1 does not continue beneath the rotating jet arms. This seems anomalous or is the real thing like this too? Two of the hinged panels on the body open up to (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: Two really impressive 2002 sets ...

(...) Hey Shaun, thanks for posting this... wow, I wasn't expecting them to put that much more effort into the Ep2 Slave 1! (Hasbro is merely repainting the old mold for their 3 3/4" figure line, so I assumed Lego would simply recolour the old Slave (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: Two really impressive 2002 sets ...

(...) Those "crazy curved pieces" are mateable with the new slope system, and what's better, they include *half canopy* slopes--I just wish they were in greys, not blue and green. Ah well. :) The hinge panels in tan: They've been available in tan (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

Two really impressive 2002 sets ...

Hmmm, am I alone in thinking that there are some really great new sets coming out this year? I just spent a little while checking out Jengo Fett's Slave I on at (URL) and I'm really impressed!
