(...) ...and finding a broken link on the pics page. ;) (...) Right! Still, thanks for culling these images and posting them--a bit of happiness to be had, and much sadness, from my standpoint. :( best LFB (24 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.year.2001)

No wonder they were quiet when I made a suggestion.

Some time during 2000 I mentioned that it would be a nice idea if TLC/TLG did a couple of Dinosuar skeletons (sort of lego fossils.). I did not expect the idea to be taken too seriously .... What do I know hear rumours of? Dino sets! unfortuantly (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

Re: More new pics of 2001 stuff

It seems like some pictures are prototypes - look at the differences in the model and box shot for set 7000 Baby Anklyosaurus. The green color looks like it has changed from forest green to the green used in the Statue of Liberty set. And the corner (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.year.2001)

Re: More new pics of 2001 stuff

To all, I did just noticed that the images I have downloaded from shop.lego.com/... a few days back have now been removed and can no longer be seen where I found them. Someone at TLC must have noticed the 'misupload' and taken the new images back (...)   Re: More new pics of 2001 stuff (Lego transforms?!)

(...) Did anyone else notice that on the packaging for the adult dinosaurs they include pictures of other dinosaurs you can build with each set. But the pictures are heade by the term TRANSFORMS. This seems to me not only misleading but also a cheap (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Racers!

(...) Racers aren't Duplo. They have 4 pieces, the little 2x2 dude, the car, and the slopes. Racer sets are worth getting just for the slopes. If you take the slopes in Spiky, put them on a 2x4 plate, turn the large slope 180 degrees, and you get (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001)
