  Deja Vu 2002

Dear Lego... Any chance of taking advantage of the year 2002, "Ice Planet 2002" rereleased? Or even just making available Ice Planet parts in some (sub)theme? Cool white and transparent orange pieces perchance? [F-ups set to (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.space, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Harry Potter LEGO- what happened?

(...) If you ask JK Rowling, she'll tell you that the books aren't targetted at *any* age bracket specifically. The age of the main character does go up by one for each book, though, because each book is about one year in Harry's life. He was 9 in (...)   Re: Harry Potter LEGO- what happened?

(...) The press release says that the Harry Potter line of LEGO will arrive shortly before the movie does, in November of 2001.   Harry Potter LEGO- what happened?

Weren't these supposed to be part of the 2001 line? Are they moved to 2002, or just later in 2001? I can't get myself to like the books, but the theme does seem promising. I remember seeing a tv interview on 60 minutes when the first Harry Potter (...) (25 years ago, 7-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: No speculations here about 2002 sets...

(...) I don't get it. If you want classic 2x4 bricks, then why are you looking at the Technic sets? Why not get a bucket full of them in stead? The buckets with basic bricks are very nice supplements if you want to build large additions to official (...) (26 years ago, 28-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.general)

Re: No speculations here about 2002 sets...

(...) Star Wars System will definately have bricks and other useful pieces, judging from the ones I currenly own (podracer, snowspeeder, droid fighter, and lightsaber duel). Alpha Team looks like Arctic with better minifigures. Life on Mars is (...) (26 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.general)

Re: No speculations here about 2002 sets...

Calm down a bit. Over the past few years, Lego has been releasing new sets, catalogs, and set information over the entire model year -- so, this catalog does not represent the entire line. Last year, Lego made the mistake of hinting at two upcoming (...) (26 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.general)

Re: No speculations here about 2002 sets...
