  Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) Yes I understand that but eventually one has to add some figs to his/her town and seeing as creator is the closest thing to town these days I don't see where we are going to get more town figs! We can't have those cyborg space dudes walking (...) (25 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001)

(...) Mainly because the Belville figures are similarly scaled to Techinc figures. -Andy && Yes, I am a master of the extreme obvious. How can you tell? (25 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

  Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) I've always assumed that it's used for alignment of the heads when they're attached by the machines. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (25 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.1978)

  Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) I've always wondered what that bit of paint is for. It always seemed like a painted on trachea. Does anyone know? Anyone? Jonathan (25 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.1978)

  Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) Hey, the first (space) minifig I saw didn't have a head. Just the little dab of paint on the neck. I figured it was the spaceman's facemask. Boy was I repulsed. Since the "stiffies" had a short stud, I didn't make the connection that a stiffie (...) (25 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.1978)

  Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) I was six or seven and I remember loving the fact that they finally had faces. Finally they weren't just mannequins. And I also loved the helmets. In addition years later when the yellow castle came out I was astonished by the visors and (...) (25 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

  Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) I remember it well. My mom bought me set 709 Police Boat on an out of town trip (I was 8 or 9) and I have a distinct memory of sitting in the back seat (of a large, gas-guzzling Ford Ltd.) and opening the box, building the model and moving the (...)   Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) I am wondering if these Creator figures are the same size range as Fabuland figures? [This would make them smaller than Mickey and Minnie, which would be my preference.] Does the head have the same pivoting movement that a Fabuland animal has? (...)   Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) I don't think I like the Creator figures, but I also wonder what it was like back in '78... "Arms?! On minifigs?!" One thing the Creator figs have going for them is they look more "to scale".,,, -JDF (25 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

  Re: Creator scourge strikes again!

(...) I seem to be one of the minority of people that thinks these figs are o.k. They are nicely and more realistically proportioned than minifigs (I bet they are in scale with a lot of Miniland structures) and I think the ball socket head is nice. (...)
