| According to the book "The Ultimate Lego Book", the company was started in 1932, by Ole Kirk Christiansen. At the time, they made wooden toys only. The great building system we are familiar with was not introduced until 1949, and was introduced as (...) (26 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.1932)
