Re: Calling all FansOf CW lego (was Re: Civil War Theme) —David Little
(...) Cool I wish that I had a train for my wild west sets. I think that lego really missed out by not doing a train for the wild west. I have built a hotel and I reconstructed the sherrif's office where the jail was inside the building. Hopefully (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.general)

(...) I cane up with a cool design for a train that is buildable if you have a 3225 (or lots or parts) If you desperatly want instructions I will make up a copy from the .dat file. If you want the .dat files then it is on .cad.dat.models somewhere. (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.general)

Re: Calling all FansOf CW lego (was Re: Civil War Theme) —Larry Pieniazek
I have never seen a 3225 for sale in the US or Canada at a store that wasn't directly operated by TLC. That may change but it seems to be the case now. In europe there are stores that sell it though. That set deserved to be run longer. It had a very (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.general)

(...) I've posted some pics of my own Wild West themed trains on my site you may be interested in. You may be interested to know that most of my parts are from currently available sets so there's no need to go out of your way to find old sets to to (...)     (...) Well I finally did it! I just finished painting a confederate soldier. I made him out of one of those stupid insectoid minifigs (with the gray torso) that I got for xmas a year ago from a friend. It looks pretty good. I will try to get a pic (...)       (...) Thanks, I think I remember seeing that. It might cost a little bit too much to buy all those sets for just the hats tho. Especially as poor as I am :) David (24 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.general)

I've got a few good heads you could use for Confederate soldiers in mind. An obvious choice is the guy with the black beard (red Imperial guards with tricornes, Fright Knight with silverball armor). Sparks' head would work pretty well, I think. (...)
