I love survey's because it gives me the chance to prove people right.  After
some exhaustive searching through Brickshelf.com's scan archives, I found that
Flatfoot Thompson is indeed the red bandit.

www.brickshelf.com/scans/catalogs/1998/h98us-jan/h98us-jan-34.html

Although poorly dressed, and in need of major dental work, Sheriff Duke (his
British name) refers to him as flatfoot, and the black bandit as "Bart".  The
poker player seems to have no name, although a minifig so nattily dressed
deserves some measure of name recognition.
The European name for the Rapid River village is "Big Chief Rattlesnake's
Camp"  Thus implying that the Chief's name is " BIG Chief rattlesnake".

I love surveys because it gives me the chance to prove people wrong, lol.
1) Flatfoot Thompson is the guy in the red.  Reason being is that Flatfoot is
a bad name for a poker player and the black bandit needs more of a Clint
Eastwood type name.
2)I like the American names because I can't speak European, just kidding.
3)I enjoy the Sherrif set but I do not have Gold City Junction yet.
4)What are cowboys without injuns.

FYI. The chief's name is Wantatradealego.
Thanks for listening to my ramblings,
Gerry
