  Re: Lets Vote

(...) True! Very true! However I never get sets until they go on clearence (except Star wars). Legos usually get marked down to 50% before the new sets come out. July and August are the best months to buy lego for that very reason. David (URL) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Lets Vote

(...) Sure, $30 for a set with 373 pieces is a pretty good price. But that's about a 50% discount from the original pricing for the RRV. Using the .10/piece pricing target, this set should have retailed for about $35-$40. Instead, it was $73 in the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.western)

(...) Not really that expensive. You can find rapid river valley for just over $30. Lots of good pieces for the value if you ask me. David (URL) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Lets Vote

I love survey's because it gives me the chance to prove people right. After some exhaustive searching through Brickshelf.com's scan archives, I found that Flatfoot Thompson is indeed the red bandit. www.brickshelf.com/s...an-34.html Although poorly (...)   Re: Custom Riverboat

(...) How about putting a propeller piece on it's side and attaching 1x2 bricks/plates to it? If that's not big enough, add some plates to the propeller as needed. Could you post/send me a pic when you're done or now if you're still having trouble? (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.western)

  Custom Riverboat

Hi, I am working on a large riverboat for my Western theme. I am having some problems making the Paddle wheel. Does any one have any ideas they can share? Thanks, Gerry (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Lets Vote

(...) I love surveys because it gives me the chance to prove people wrong, lol. 1) Flatfoot Thompson is the guy in the red. Reason being is that Flatfoot is a bad name for a poker player and the black bandit needs more of a Clint Eastwood type name. (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Lets Vote

I thought for a long time that the poker player was Flatfoot, because he was the coolest I guess.
