(...) Good luck!! Hope you can rejoin us at a later date. I think we do have a few people here in the Navy who post from time to time. (Maybe they'll give you Internet access. :-) --Todd (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.people, lugnet.trains.org)

Geee man ! Army, navy ..what ever ... But don't sell your Lego because of it ! You won't get rich from 1000 $ but you'll be sorry one day ! Think it over one more time ! Enjoy ! Dejan (24 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Mindstorm Mall Tour looking for a few good LUGs

A couple weeks back I posted a pretty critical but not mean-spirited (IMHO) critique of the mall tour as it passed near me (reference message Dear Lego n=2518). Dude! Just because you are going away for a while doesn't mean you have to sell off! Box it up and store it somewhere-- *some* day you'll be glad you did (or your future son/daughter/niece/nephew will;-) Think about it at least. -John (...)   Re: Handling "Kid play areas" on layouts

(...) A "K-8" is a standard size storage box for LEGO. It's about 30"x18"x16". I have one at home, I'll get an exact measurement and post it sometime. JohnG, GMLTC (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

Re: Handling "Kid play areas" on layouts

(...) I'm still not sure - Could you please clarify what " K-8 " is/means? I seems from what I'm reading that it is not the name of a set or style or "line" of LEGO, but rather a nickname for a container that holds excess LEGO that can't be put in (...)
