  Re: Train Windows

(...) The 7710 Push Train contains blue doors with yellow bottom. The base color is blue, though, so if you know how to remove paint you can get a pair of blue doors out of these (I would never do this with a good pair of doors, but I do have one (...)   Re: Train Windows

(...) Is there anyway to get these without that ridiculous soccerball/football? I have no use whatsoever for them, but they seem to have added about $8 to the price. Dave! (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.general)

  Train Windows

Hello fellow Lugnetters I have recently been looking at the new soccer/football sets; the team busses. Set numbers 3404, 3405, 3406, 3407 These sets each have 7 train windows & are therefore great for parts. What do people think of these sets for (...)   Re: NALUG takes 2nd at Great Edmonton Train Show

(...) Well considering that train bridges are currently the prime focus of StRuCtures, it's a natural for NALug to showcase them. The simple monorail one at the show last week was a basic concept test - larger and more elaborate ones are on the way. (...)   Re: New Interurban/Trolley model, perfect for those downtown scenes

(...) Just wanted to point out that the quoted words up there are Chris Gray's. Chris's sig made me laugh, and that is all I commented about. Chris (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

Kevin, With the decals that model really rocks, we would have won first place if the decals had been on the model at the show! (...)   Big Red 8 (was Re: NALUG takes 2nd at Great Edmonton Train Show)

(...) I can just imagine your chest swelling whilst over-hearing that... :-) (...) What was the "Chelsie" modeled after? I thought it was the best one there. Sorry - Big Red 8 doesn't really count, since it's in a different class. If my layout is (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

(...) :) Thankyou! :) (...) Um... Ok, I won't. ;) A sketch of what it would've looked like if I'd gotten around to applying (purists beware) the decals (gasp!) can be found here - (URL) not entirely complete, detail-wise, and the lettering should (...)   Re: New Interurban/Trolley model, perfect for those downtown scenes

(...) I have never been one to say that we don't need the NMRA. After all, I was the driving force in getting BAYLTC to the NMRA. I think that we need publicity and the NMRA can provide that.
