While I was setting up at the local NMRA train show here in Atlanta
today, I heard an interesting comment that I thought yall would enjoy.
The organizer of the show was very curious about LEGO trains, I could
tell that he wasn't sure if he was ready to accept the idea of them
being at his show. He kept making little "remarks" about them, but he
was still very excited for me to get set up so he could see them run. He
did make the comment that he'd had been told by other NMRA show
organizers that "once you have a LEGO layout at your show, you won't
want to do a show with out them". I thought that was really cool, it
looks like LEGO train clubs are starting to have an effect on the train
show circuit and the organizers are taking notice. Maybe the LEGO
Company will take notice soon too.
Well I just figured I'd pass that on, I need to get some sleep, got a
long day ahead of me tomorrow at the show.

| (...) While that's good for us no matter what it means, I suspect that they like the way it occupies the kids freeing the adults to check out the "real stuff".
