Steve,
Glad to read your comments. I didn't try to model it after any beach, but
bits and pieces of all the beaches along the CA coast. It was a fun project
but I used more tan plates that I thought I would to do the beach.
There's talk that we might have one whole side of a train layout done with
more of the coastal theme. At our next show, there are plans to add a
lighthouse and possibly a trestle bridge. So who knows, maybe a section
will be the Venice beach area or the Santa Monica pier!
Thanks again for replying Steve!
