Our first public weekend at the Beaverton Mall in Beaverton (outside Portland, OR) was a great success! July 6th and 7th we were open to the public during mall hours at our new temporary "clubhouse". Amy & All, (...) Indeed. I had to wait for Lynn to get out of work (Long story) and we hit some bad rush hour traffic and construction zones on 131, which was just plain awful. (...) Tables went up without a hitch (if you don't count the lag from Scott being a bit held up) in very respectable time. I have received a few inquiries about Monorail, but at this time I have not committed it to the 12V or 9V layout. Scott's section on the 9V layout apparently includes some monorail already so maybe we could just expand on that. Chris Leach has a (...) The 9V Train and Town layout for BrickFest 2002 is tentatively designed. Please take a look: (URL) idea is to have at least 6 loops with plenty of staging yard space for trains. (22 years ago, 16-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Frank, I haven't found my 7864 yet. I don't have a 110-220 step-up transformer for it anyway, but if I find the 7864, I'll buy one. (...) Do you have a stepup for your 7864? I think I will end up bringing mine just to make sure we have enough. I will also be bringing my two blue era transformers.
