  Re: Train/Town Layout Plan

(...) Where will Monorail be (9v or 12v)? I can bring the Airport Shuttle but want to make sure there is interest. >> Mark << (22 years ago, 16-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Train/Town Layout Plan

The 9V Train and Town layout for BrickFest 2002 is tentatively designed. Please take a look: (URL) idea is to have at least 6 loops with plenty of staging yard space for trains. (22 years ago, 16-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

I prefer MichLTC too. I notice, however, that LUGNET has us listed as MLTC on the map at least. (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org)

(...) I will bring all my 12V track (all gray-era), 7864 w/step-up transformer, my box of wires (included my 6'/12' modified ones), my 7740 with loco built up in alternate model style and my points and signals. Don't have an exact count with (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: 12v Trains at BrickFest! - 8 days and closing!

Frank, I haven't found my 7864 yet. I don't have a 110-220 step-up transformer for it anyway, but if I find the 7864, I'll buy one. The only boxes I have found so far are the 7722,7822,7823,7866, and many of the track/accessories. I'll probably (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: 12v Trains at BrickFest! - 8 days and closing!

(...) Do you have a stepup for your 7864? I think I will end up bringing mine just to make sure we have enough. I will also be bringing my two blue era transformers. Bring as much of the above as you feel comfortable bringing. Although they are (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re-posting for wider audience: FUT: lugnet.trains.org Frank 8 days to BrickFest! I don't think I'll get a track plan made up ahead of time, but I think it will be fun to develop a track plan when we get there (and expand if some of the track doesn't (...)   Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) Well personally I prefer MLTC. But looks like I am out-voted. Guess I will have to continue my crusade in my head only, and make sure that all offical MichLUG/MichLTC notices use the right moniker. Not the left one.... Er it's late, I need my (...)   Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) Way back before our first GATS show I had been referring to us as MILTC... everyone wanted to know what the I stood for. That one lost out. (It was MI, as in Michigan!) Peter (22 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) We haven't had a thorough debate on this so this is just my preference, not a formal answer: MichLTC... it's less ambiguous (22 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) Hey Jason, I have a general question for you guys-- which acro do you all wish to be referred to as? MichLTC or MLTC? Just wondering, John (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org)

8 days to BrickFest! I don't think I'll get a track plan made up ahead of time, but I think it will be fun to develop a track plan when we get there (and expand if some of the track doesn't show up until later). What I would ask is that people (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org)
