(...) For the most part, simply 1x1 black plates. I used black plates to bind the walls for strength, and then "greeblied" them in order for the load to look random. M>ltc displayed our current layout at the Grampians Train Show in Stawell this weekend. It was another great weekend, with a few noteworthy points: 1. It was cold! (2 URLs) 2. (...) Ah, you're probably in lot E off of Merrimac.. If you go all the way to the East end of that lot, you'll see the Technology Building, where I teach. (...) Darrell- Gee, it would be hard for you to miss us! As exhibitors, we receive free parking, but we have to take a shuttle bus from our designated lot at...Orange Coast College! All- I didn't quite get the closing hours for the OC Fair correct in my post. The fair closes everyday at 00:00 (midnight), but the SCLTC layout closes everyday at 23:00. -Ted (19 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

The Southern California LEGO Train Club's first ever run at the at 2005 Orange County Fair begins today. SCLTC is providing four separate attractions consisting of two displays and two building events: A train layout A flag building record attempt (...)
