Re: Hogwarts as 9 V set

(...) We had a non-9v on our Layout at GATS this last weekend. We could motorize it for a lot less than $120.00. I bought the set #4708 at the outlet store from Brickfest last year for $14.99 in a damaged box, but the set was perfect. (URL) GtwLUG (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.trains)

(...) The only benefit I could see is you can use this stuff for the sidings or static displays. That way you dont waist the good stuff for trains that will just sit there. David www.GPLR.org (19 years ago, 8-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: My first train MOC's ever

  Layout of Jonathan Lopes

I got a chance to meet up with Jonathan last night and he took me back to his place... not to look at his etchings but rather at his town/train layout. I took lots of pictures. (...) Did you notice from the above picture and the following: (URL) that we may be stuck with a LOT more curved track than we may need /want?
