| (...) I found an unofficial straight track model. The weird thing was that it had yellow conductor rails. I changed the color to light gray, and they look good. | (...) Lar, I totally agree with you. Light gray for the conducting rails is not right, and it should not be made the official color. | I haven't found the train motors to be particularly good generators, but if you have two locos on an unpowered track you can give one loco a good push and the other will lurch forward... and if there's a light on the loco it will illuminate briefly. | As you say this is hardly possible. We did that in 2001 (www.hot.ee/sonnich/lego/ - under galleries you will find the Baltic Train Event), and found it hard (impossible) with curved rails. We used straight rail for a "border" station between the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)

| Here is another very easy way for your consideration, all you need is the actuator from the 12V points/switch or the 12V automatic level crossings, a short length of string (Lego string is good :-) ) and a dab of glue.
