Preeettty cool

One nit, Kim says that the original was light grey and red, I believe they
actually were white, and the model he was working from had some weathering
(I had a chance to actually be inside of one of these units at a SOO engine
house, somewhere in the UP, but I forget where. My dad took me when I was
oh, 12 or 13, and we were able to weasel our way into the shop thanks to a
friendly shopworker, who then gave us a tour... I remember them as white).

Hey, thanks for the compliment Larry!  And thanks for the info on the color.
I'll have to update my web page now and get rid of that appology.  I guess
my color reproduction was more accurate than I thought! :)

And just so that you all realize how unbiased I am, I'll even criticize my
own model; after having it around for a while it seems pretty clear to me
that the nose needs to be 1 stud shorter.  Its just a bit too long.  I knew
that when I was building it, but due to the parts I selected for the nose,
that was one of the compromises I accepted.  At the time I thought it was
the right compromise.  Now, however, I think the overly long nose is more
detracting that I had originally hoped. Whether I actually ever get around
to doing anything about it is another question, but its on my list of things
to do when I get board. :)

Thanks again Larry,

Kim
