Thanks, Ben. I am using Matt D. Bates excellent Track designer program
(I did it on AutoCad for a long time, without much success!), and I am
trying to see if I can get just a simple switch between the two lines so
that the current doesn't short anything out. Thanks for your
suggestions, believe, me, I will have lots of fun! :)

| (...) Track Designer will not detect shorts created by attaching more than one controller. It only detects shorts caused by reversing loops. However, that is a feature that I would eventually like to add to version 3, so that you can tell TD where (...) (26 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.trains)
