Sorry to have missed you also, John. I expected to spend hours chatting with
all of the GMLTCers, but the reality turned out to be only minutes. The layout
was terrific! I managed to be on hand just as the first trial run of the
loaned LTC cars were being jammed past the bridge - OOPS, someone forgot to
check the clearances. The crash, although spectacular, was easily repaired
with only one broken piece (a bogie plate). I did get some excellent ideas
(and pictures) from the vehicles (Terri especially liked the school buses -
she's an Elementary School Teacher). I would have liked to spend more time
with the group, but there was a lot of filming I was doing and it seemed to be
past 3 pm before I noticed the time.
