Hey Alan!
Thanks for dropping in on the weekly GMLTC shindig-- it was good to meet you! It
was great to see your steam train in person. It is definitely one of the nicest
passenger trains I've ever seen. The green looks great with the white windows (I
think this type of European train is the only application in which the 1x4x3 train
windows look correct) and green doors, and the rounded roofs add so much to the
streamlined effect. Excellent work! I also build using these elements, so I
appreciate how hard it is to acquire the crazy amounts necessary to create such an
effect. But the results are *well* worth it! Trainiacs take note: IMO this is
how a passenger car should look, and so when LEGO Direct comes out, you all should
be clamoring for these elements by the 1,000s:

Now, Alan, if we can only get you to build 8 wide;-)

| After visiting Steve this past weekend (hello, GMLTC guys!), I finally have some pictures of some of my MOC's, mainly a German-prototype steam train. I've banged together a web page at (URL) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.us.ny.syr) !
