I believe that it pulled a special train of similarly painted heavyweight
passenger cars. (Rather than newbuilt cars) Not positive, and don't again,
have much on NA trains of the 30's. If it was UK, I would have a lot more on
it. :)

| (...) Agreed. As I recall, B&O was on a shoestring and couldn't afford a brand new streamliner, so the skirting was put on a loco, and new paint on some old stock as a poor second best.
