Hi All,
Time for another LMC update!  Well it's the end of the month and I'm NOT done...
could have seen that coming! I was in Taiwan for 2 weeks and then I had over 100
orders of altBricks Leaves to run to the post office over the next two weeks!

Any way I finally painted (with a roller) the LMC.  First coat was a primer;
white. Had to do all the walls and ceiling.  Also special cement sealer on the
exposed foundation.  Originally I wasn't thinking that I'd do more than that.
But with the orange peal texture it started looking less like a garage
conversion and more like interior living space.  So I bought the same color
paint that's in the rest of the house and painted walls only with that. Of
course I had to "cut in" the ceiling, PITA.  Since there is nothing on the floor
I could make a mess there! And I did a bit.  Roller marks every where on the
floor along the walls.

I also decided to install finish molding that matches the rest of the house. So
I picked that up tonight.  It's pre-primered, so now the last 10% of painting
left to do.  I also bought matching trim paint tonight and I'll paint it all
before installing.  It's seems easier to touch up nail heads then taping the
hole length of the trim.

(...) Steve- I'm very curious about what sort of carpeting you will choose. I have carpeted two different Lego rooms at my house. I tend to prefer building on the floor, so I laid down commercial carpet (with a very low loop mat, like you might find (...) (13 years ago, 2-May-12, to lugnet.trains)
