But surely it should be possible to build what they show on the box? And the
old steam engine _is_ shown relatively detailed, i.e. certainly not background
decoration (whereas the whole old train is not).
Has no one here ever commented on the box pic.s? (My impression was that people
on LUGNET will piously exegese (if that's a verb) even the smallest print on
the LEGO plastic bags :-)

Yes, I was aware of that. But the stock available in Finland's biggest dept.
store was about six boxes with curved, and one (1) with straight tracks. And
one (1) pair of points. Guess where they are now...
I'll try some Internet suppliers. LEGO WorldShop, however, seems to sell only
the hi-tech stuff. But there are alternatives, of course.

I will, at least with the logistics -- Internet and Global Village or not, you
