  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) Great! Creates this nice envious 'want THAT too...'-feeling inside :-) It is okay to add stickers, but already not necessary, since it actually looks fully developed. Also the colour scheme is ok, it reminds a little bit of a comic style. (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: The Tequila Sunrise

(...) ... Hi, I'm guilty of never finding time to post feedback. Be assured that, with or without stickers, I greatly appreciate the originality of your trains MOCs and the care you take to present them to us through photos of quality.   The Tequila Sunrise

Here's my latest steam engine I've been working on. It's lacking stickers, but someday I'll find a printer that can print decent stickers from home. Till then I'll have to wait till I can find the time to borrow the use of my father's printer. (2 (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX) !!

  Re: Kuranda Scenic Railway v2

(...) It looks damn close to the original and I like the engine compartment detailing :) It looks to me like it is backwards but I'm used to some of the older UK stock that is controlled from the back. (17 years ago, 15-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

Upcoming Train Show and LUG Meeting

To all, ULUG will be having our monthly meeting at the Scout Jamborall where we will be displaying our train layout. The layout will run from Saturday May 19th at 9 am to 3 pm. The directions are as follow: Weber County Fairgrounds in Ogden, Utah. (...) (17 years ago, 15-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.ulug)

  Kuranda Scenic Railway v2

(...) --snip-- (...) (2 URLs) BS> (URL) Flickr> I finally got the pieces together to build the loco in the parent post (and most of one wagon). Since I'm more experienced now than I was a year and a half ago I've made a number of small changes but (...) (17 years ago, 15-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: NedTrain 700 class shunter

(...) Hey, Tim. Great loco! The lime color scheme is very nice. My only complaint would be the lime slopes. It looks, to me, from the prototype, that the sides are flat. Would it be possible to use tiles instead? Or are you just trying to show off (...) (17 years ago, 12-May-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Northern Pacific SW1200

(...) Thanks for the suggestion, Mat. I'm going to pic up some waterslide decals at the hobby shop later so I'll make sure to get some brass rod while I am there. I came up with a solution for the hand rails on the rear of the cab, (URL) here> it (...) (17 years ago, 12-May-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: NedTrain 700 class shunter

(...) I think you should have used dark green... I'm glad you got it built after I distracted you. I'm not 100% convinced by some of the details, but its still so much better than I could could do I'm not going to complain. The slopes to give detail (...)   Re: NedTrain 700 class shunter

(...) I can't believe you used bley on that one. It totally clashes with all the warm colors. Jeff (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: NedTrain 700 class shunter

(...) Thanks. (...) Definitely a 6 ;) I think its maximum width is probably a bit over 7 studs at the top of the siderails. Also... I forgot to link in the first post to the (URL) prototype>. Tim (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: NedTrain 700 class shunter

Looks very good! ...for a train ; ) the angles and colours are both very well chosen and the overall effect is very pleasing on the eye! God Bless, Nathan Now is this a 6 wide or 8 wide... ; ) (URL) (17 years ago, 11-May-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  NedTrain 700 class shunter

(2 URLs) BS> (URL) Flickr> Hi guys, Decided to have a play with a NedTrain 700 class as I liked the colours and loved the device on the front.   Re: Reply from Chris Di MasiRe: Hobby Train & 9V motor

(...) Chris, Thanks for the reply explaining what has happened. That was very helpful. I think the Hobby Trains are great - it would be nice to see other designs/LDD files using the same parts. David (17 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Looking for Train Contact in New York

(...) Ed, On a similar note, if you ever get requests for any upstate New York events that might need manpower, let me know. Though I'm a NELUGer (NELUGite?), I'm probably as close to New York as I am to most of the NELUG events (I'm in southwestern (...)   Re: Looking for Train Contact in New York

(...) I believe I was in contact with Jim before this event, and LUCNY couldn't get the manpower to staff it that weekend. The museum is a great venue, and I live only a half-hour or so away from it, but most of our members are over 2 hours away, (...)   Re: Reply from Chris Di MasiRe: Hobby Train & 9V motor

(...) Paul, I don't think any of your posts have been too critical. Critically evaluating a set is great. Honestly, I feel badly that two of my designs that went out won't quite work with a motor. On the other hand, when I built my trolleycar the (...) (18 years ago, 6-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

GG1 10183 Alternate Found on Brickshelf

Brickshelf user jmcollaco's (URL) gallery> has instructions for a GG1 made only with the parts from a single 10183 set.
