A bigger, longer, beefy-er transport I cannot imagine!
Pushing the limits of length is quite a feat.
The white accent on the trucks serves the overall look very well, and gives
detail to what would otherwise unbalance the model. I like the smooth red tile
for the bracing structure, but that seems to conflict with the studs on the
black plates. I think I understand that topping of with black tiles would
"thicken" the appearance of the pivots and platforms, so I can't really suggest
the change. You've captured the cabins well with inverse windscreen, but here I
think the roof-tops on the cabins would benefit from a bit of smooth tiles and
maybe a little greebling...if appropriate for the cab roof.
Great job on the new version. It really does look the task!

| (...) James, Thanks for your comments. The white trucks are what motivated me to build this. I used the tile on the bracing structure because it tapered from 6 studs to 4 studs and this looked better. The black plates are decks and so I left them as (...) (18 years ago, 9-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains)
