Re: Hobby Trains at LEGO Factory

(...) Are those Mathis models POV-Ray renders done by James himself or are the folks who do lego.com using LDraw tools? They definitely don't look like renders from LDD. Or maybe they were done with TLG's own rendering system? (like most new box (...) (18 years ago, 21-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Old MOC; New Twist: Pics and Video

(...) Cuss, apparently, the video I uploaded only worked on my computer:-/ So I tried again and uploaded it onto (URL). I could've either save it as a 2.8 Meg file or a 99.7 Meg file, so I chose the smaller, but the detail suffers a bit. But you can (...)   Re: Hobby Trains at LEGO Factory

(...) This looks pretty good, and I hope it's going to expand. I did send them a message though that the link to "Other users' train designs" gives some pretty poor results. A lot of the good stuff has dropped off the end. They need to link to 'Cool (...) (18 years ago, 20-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: New Trains Gone from S&H

(...) I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. The Holiday Train, the small steam locomotives, the train shed, and some of the 9v track packs, all of which they are selling as part of the 9v system, are sold out and accepting back-orders as well. All it (...) (18 years ago, 19-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Trains Gone from S&H

(...) Hi Andrew, I would read this as: " The new battery trains sell so well, that they are sold out for now." The consumers seem to accept these way better than expected (by TLC). So say "Good bye!" to the 9V system. There is not enough room in (...) (18 years ago, 19-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains)
