  Re: 7897 - quality issues

(...) I have a hard time believing that the size of the part is to blame. I give you three examples of large parts that have no gaps. These all come in the new Passenger Plane 7893.   7897 - quality issues

Wow! These gaps are wide enough to push coins of any size through! (URL) Jan Beyer of LEGO told at 1000steine, that all trains will look like this and he gave a (lame?) explanation, that there are limitations in designing the single-piece-mould, (...)   Re: New train set?

(...) Thanks for posting this! I was really hoping to find the basic my-own-train type engine, coach and caboose instructions in an easily printable PDF format. This is just what I needed! As for the quality, it is a bit saturated, and sections of (...) (18 years ago, 8-Aug-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.inst, FTX)

  Re: Pleasanton museum pictures

(...) I can see a train motor every other car, but I presume the red wheels then are BBB wheels, and the feature drive is taken from the axle? I've got a piggy-back train that gets its drive from half-bushes with minifig car tyres, suspended between (...) (18 years ago, 6-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Pleasanton museum pictures

(...) Yes. Each car has something animated on it and the ferris wheel spins.   Re: Super Chief set not ready for prime-time

I tried this solution out for myself, and it didn't produce the best results for rolling friction. Not to say it isn't a good solution, because I do see major improvements, but just that there is a better one. Adding the metal sleeve around the (...)   Re: IR train base alternative
