Re: 9V Train Motor Being Discontinued?

(...) I think this is a very important point. Most of us are quite resourceful and some have come up with their own custom track parts. The problem is most of us don't have those skills and to purchase those parts on the second hand market is very (...) (18 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

I used 4.5v track but had it spaced 2 studs apart enstead (...) (18 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Auotmated decouplers (Was: Who's the April fool now?)

(...) First of all I should point out that neither of these are my MOCs Jason's uncoupler has the magnet mounted on a technic plate which also has a rack mounted on it. The technic motor (controlled by the custom IR reciever) draws the coupling into (...) (18 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Auotmated decouplers (Was: Who's the April fool now?)

(...) Curious. But the it looks like the images are no longer up - are there any images of the internal workings of Gronk or your own implementation? I'd not seen this before, and I'm really curious now... both how well it worked, and how well (...) (18 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
