Hi Tim,
Nice. I really like the rubber band chain as well. I was actually planning to
build an LDRAW model of an NYC subway car this week, but at a vaguely
Miniland scale (Ive never been to a Legoland park, so Im not entirely
sure). I like the idea of doing a subway trains of the world series. The
first thing that came to mind was Montreals subway with tires.

And this amazingly rectangular, LEGO-ready Chilean train:

Congrats on the LDRAW.org scene of the month, by the way. I still havent had
a chance to play with your .mpd of that scene--it would be fun if you made a
series of subway station wallpapers to go with the various trains.

Thanks Adrian (and Calum too)
Interestingly enough I already have a start on a Paris Metro train (begun before
the NY one) with rubber wheels. Probably a similar system to Montreals. Im
waiting until I can find a special part to test something with before I finish
it though.
That Chilean train is amazingly blocky. Im going to concentrate on the super
cities first (London, Paris, Tokyo etc.) and then I might move on to others.
Hmmm. More subway scenes is a definite possibility but they take so long to do
so I may not try all of them. I am having visions of a Subway station with
graffiti and garbage though.
