  Re: Still more

(...) Looking at these pictures leads only to more confusion..... Notice the standard metal wheels reappear? Here's to hoping! -Jeramy (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.year.2006)

Re: More of the new train

(...) Already done, I did some experiments using some of the old 4.5v track. (URL) I ran metal foil tape on top of the platic rails. The tape is tin plated copper for use in stain glass. The train motor ran fine. And with the new plastic track I (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.it.itlug, lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: More of the new train

(...) Yes it is. You get one segment and a truck for construction as a set. I can't find the pictures again but they appeared on BrickShelf and Eurobricks a while ago. Perhaps someone else can dig them up. (...) We can certainly hope. (...) I have (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.it.itlug, lugnet.parts)

Re: More of the new train

(...) Hmmm - I wonder if the bridge is for sale too. It looks like specialised bridge parts - pretty good actually.... I they start making all parts like that for a model railway, then I wonder what else we can expect - more cars, engines and other (...)   Re: Registry for Track Designer - new version available

(...) Pierre, Thanks for putting this together. My modified points should be showing up in the mail any day now, and now I don't have to use straight and curved tracks to stand in for the modified points! Chris (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad)

Re: New train? (set 7898 from 2006)

(...) (URL) The more and more I see of the RC/IR train line the more I like it. The sets look to be well-engineered, fun to build, not junior-ized, both have seemingly good parts and it looks easy to hack. Ok the last part doesn't really matter to (...)   Re: New train? (set 7898 from 2006)

(...) Hmm. Hypothesising on these pictures... You can see the raised 'patch' on the side of both engines, like that that appeared in Jake's keynote speech. I don't think it's stretching the imagination too much to take this to be an IR sensor - this (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.it.itlug, lugnet.parts)

  Re: WOW!

--SNIP-- (...) I think I can see a gap on the round brick but the slopes look flush. Could be microsnottery or just some discrete edges. Tim (19 years ago, 5-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town)

  Re: WOW!

Re: New train? (set 7898 from 2006)

(...) I'm wondering if they are effective sets or just prototypes. About 4 jears ago (really much time has gone!) we've already seen a look-like-ICE train with a white-red livery, but later the set had a green strip (somebody sad due to some royalty (...)
