Good question Mark and it has taken us 4 years to finnaly get a large percentage
of them on side and not just classing us as "toys".
But that doesn't mean we are accepted in the "train" fraternity??
In Queensland they (AMRA) (Australian Model Railway Association) after having us
set up for the last 4 years they have admitted to us that we are their "draw
card" and perhaps the starting point for all the young train enthusiastists but
it took a hard push and a lot of knocking from all the old "Train Heads". Now
they come over and gather round each year to see what new things we have you can
even get a sensible conversation out of them now :))
So I am glad you liked the pic's (many thanks to my mate Tim for uploading) and
just keep going , enjoy it and have fun. We love to see the kids all gathered
round our layout pointing out things to mum and dad and just enjoying it.
An old saying "you can't please everyone all the time"
Have Fun and hope you do well
Send some of your pics we might get into a regular swap.
Cheers
Peter Parsons

| (...) Looks good! Nice to see more Lego layouts at model railway shows! I see you're using curves spaced out with straights. We were at Birkenhead, UK with our 8mm scale small layout last weekend. What response do you get from model railway (...) (19 years ago, 5-Nov-05, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains)
