Hi, here is a link to the wheel decorations that I used for my Super Chief.

I don't think that the engine decorations will be much use to you since
I build 8-wide, but you might be able to re-engineer the decorations on
the coach for 6-wide.

Good building!

[DUDE!]

Somehow this MOC passed under my radar, so let me say now that I think it is
most excellent!  I really love how you have captured the "heaviness" of the F7--
really top notch!  I totally {dig} your trucks, and though I'm not too wild
about the windshield solution, everything else really turned my crank:-)

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, I really appreciate the kind words.
I have no idea where I came up with the truck idea for the engine.
Maybe it was a combination of otherworldly inspiration and subconscious
lifting of ideas, but I really like the way they worked out. I have also
used that decoration on the unpowered trucks of my B-Unit. The trucks on
the coaches were really just me trying to do the trucks I saw in the
pictures. They look ok with the tiles that I used, but on some of the
trucks I used grill tiles that don't have grooves, and they look pretty
good.
Yeah, the windshields on these things are tough. I looked around a
bit, and I considered doing the jeep windshield thing, but I am not real
fond of that method (tomato tomato... funny that doesn't seem to work
when typing :). I would like to find a way to stick a red
something-or-other down through the middle to fill up the empty space.
Anyway, I do kinda like the windshield (it looks a bit better in
person), and if I find something better, I'll give it a go.
Oh yeah, I have to admit it, much of this engine, especially the
nose, is just a mod of LEGO one :)

Thanks for the nice comments guys,
Chris
