  new sets...mmmmm

(...) Looks like 10158 is a close re-release of 2148 Legoland Truck that came out a few years ago. The 10156 and 10157 are the train cars from a 4511 set. I believe these are going to be sold individually so people don't need to get needless train (...) (20 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

(...) Impressive model. That's huge. That must have been quite the LDraw model too. I'd hate to try rendering that one. :-) It looks great, very true to scale.   Train weights

I bought a Sante Fe set with just one engine and 5 cars. Similarly I got a steam engine with one each of the caboose, passenger car, etc. Both these sets struggle to run on tracks with just the one engine. So, borrowing from the N Scale World, I (...) (20 years ago, 21-May-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: A little math cioncerning ships, containers and Minifigs

(...) From my model railroading I know all about selective compressing and there's usually a certain breaking point where it looses it's effect and becomes silly. IMHO the 4-w container is at least close to that if you use it together with minifigs (...) (20 years ago, 21-May-04, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.trains)

Re: Brick Built Beasts volume 1

Hi, Bruce. Just wanted to add my thanks for this great resource. Often times when I've needed to create new brick animals for The Brick Testament, I first want to see what others have come up with before me. Finding such examples has sometimes been (...) (...) I have, both from the air, and up close, (and in articles in TRAINS) and I agree. (...) I just don't have enough brick(1) to do very many of them and I'd rather go for a huge pile of smaller containers that I CAN do, and 2 or 3 ships instead (...)
