Hello,
It is just a color shift due to the numeric camera I used to picture the switch
point. Take it easy :-) Lego has nothing to do with that.
By the way, it is a picture of a motorized switch point by a 2793c01 pneumatic
cylinder. All the remaining description is in french in a sort of review
(http://www.freelug.org/article.php3?id_article=175) I posted recently for some
AFOL friends at FreeLug.
If you want to pratice a little bit your french reading, it should be a good
starting point :-)
In the same article there are several solutions proposed for motorizing 9V
switch points, pointing some former proposals and a recent synthesis proposed by
myself for 71427 and 2838 9V motors. The main mechanisms on which I rely is the
one from Chris Alano published on lugnet by Brian. Also two solutions based on
pneumatic cylinders x189c01 or 2793c01.
If there is a huge demand, I could translate the article... :-)
All the best,
Philippe.
P.S. It is my very first message on Lugnet, please don't flamme.

| (...) Hi Philippe, I took at look at the FreeLug site but I could not see any description of the system I use which is the 7563 actuator, a piece of string (Lego of course!) and a dab of glue! Would you like me to send you a picture of what I do? (21 years ago, 29-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains)
