I've been playing around with MLCad a bit, and have attempted to model the

The images are a bit rough, but please let me know what you think. I've also
posted the MPD file.

First, I have two request.  Do you have any pictures of the original station we
could look at?  This looks like an interesting interpretation, and since it is
based on a real life model, a comparision would be nice.

Unfortunately, I do not have a scanner, nor a digital camera. The real station's
colors are a bit different; sort of a light orange-brown color. I tried doing it
in brown but it looked too dark. The tan color was sort of a compromise. Also,
using the 33-degree slope bricks for the roof would have been more accurate, but
there aren't any inverse-corner pieces. There're also some more interior detail
that I left out.

Also, when can we
expect some renderings?  I'm sure if you aren't too familiar with it, many
people inclusing myself, would gladly help.

When I get some more time, I would love to try to do some actual renderings.
Help would be appreciated.

In terms of the model, I think it is very interersting how you raised the tracks
on a bed filled in with tiles.  Good luck trying to find all those tiles in real
life!

That's why I used MLCad and not real bricks. :-) The real brickwork doesn't
extend across both sets of tracks, but I thought it looked better that way.

I also like the interior and the use of the 1x2 plates with one stud to
set up the chairs.

One thing I would do to improve the model however is extend the base so that the
tracks don't float in the air so much.  Due to their raised nature they tend to
detract the focus a little.

Thanks for the feedback!

Brian
