I saw this a couple days ago as I was browsing brickshelf. Very nice. I like the use of the stunt stick/backpack attachment thingy on the small headlights. Are those drivers lego parts from the old car sets? Or are they another manufacturer? (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Thanks! (...) The drive wheels are only connected to the chassis by couplings, the top is "pressed on" the chassis by 2 springed wheels holders (the red ones). Over curves and switches, they puch up slightly higher, and therefore don't run. On (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains)

I considered going, but the (ICE) traintrip would take 4 hours from Amsterdam and the Dutch Railways wouldn't give a quote on the price for a ticket on the website :-( Maybe next year I'll come for a whole weekend and (...) Hi all, Frank 'Pudie' Abel, a co-Afol of the FGLTC has built a really beautiful Rheingold-Express train. That was shown yesterday at the FGLTC end-of-year-show in Hattersheim.
