OK, I did some more digging. The GM site is pretty sparse but check out
this link:

http://www.gm.com/about/info/overview/gmloco.html

The right picture (the SD70 MAC) also looks like your loco, same bulging
rear radiators. GM and GE are getting harder to tell apart these days.

Note that the left picture (the Santa Fe in classic Warbonnet paint (1)
) is very similar except for the radiators. Doing a warbonnet would be a
good use of silver bricks! If only they came in more than just 2x4.

I hope it wasn't a SD90MAC that was smacked up.. if so, BNSF is out 2M
bucks or so.

1 - sigh, that is the most beautiful paint scheme ever. But Santa Fe is
now a fallen flag. BNSF did a similarly organized scheme in their colors
but cascade green and orange is just no substitute for silver and red.

Hello all: Used a couple of innovative building techniques for a new diesel locomotive. Check it out and let me know what you think. (URL) can someone please tell me what type of diesel it looks most like? (Larry P?) Thanks a bunch. Ben (26 years ago, 29-Nov-98, to lugnet.trains)
