Ross has been at it again: (URL) yellow hopper is modeled after an HO Peabody hopper that was given to Ross as a boy-- he carried it everywhere. Then he built red and black versions. I see there is to be a Lego Train display at the National Model Railway Show at the NEC on the 30th Nov / 1st Dec. Does anybody know who's organising it or is anybody planning to attend? You're better off ordering 2 10025s and 3 10022s for the package price of $148. Use catalog code TS022 to get the "5 cars for $148" deal. When you enter teh TS022 Catalog Code in the Shopping Cart, it will change the price of the cars to $29.60 (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.trains)

Great work guys! The work and discovery by Jeremy, Dave, and Steve shown below inspired me to try a similar shroud for non-motorized 9v train wheels. As 9v volt wheel housings are exactly 6 studs wide, the edge-to-edge solution shown below is wider (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.trains)
