  Caboose in service!
 
Hey all, I saw a caboose in service the other day. A GP-something or other (sorry I am such a bad/lazy rail spotter) was pulling a caboose and three box cars. The caboose was tucked in between the engine and the box cars. GP-{caboose}-{box car}-{box (...) (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

Down here on CSX we still use cabeese as shoving platforms. Of course everything is stripped out of them except a couple seats...for those rough shoving moves. -Harvey (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)
